The Forge Growth Principles
- The Furnace -
In the furnace we are invited to challenge or ways of thinking and acting, breaking open the mold we have conformed to, and inviting us be different. Here we challenge old paradigms, are encouraged to let go, and to make change.
- The Hamer and Anvil -
In this phase of growth we are reshaped and molded into a new version of what we want to become. This often painful phase sees us letting go of things that no longer benefit us and taking on more authentic expressions. It is here that we educate ourselves, accept new ways of thinking and perceiving, and expand our capacity.
- Temper and Harden -
Though we have now been reshaped, our expansion is not solidified yet. This critical phase takes this new growth and makes it become a permanent element of our lives through practical exercises and practices. It is in this phase that we create new habits for success, moving from great ideas into lasting character traits.
- Sharpening -
As the habits begin to settle in and a new man begins to emerge, it now becomes critical to refine and hone ourselves with mentorship and accountability. This sharpening and clarifying phase acts to deepen and refine the evolving that began in the beginning.
